Summer is here — and that means warm weather, beach days, and biotech! This month is the start of our Biotech Summer, a season of events and activities connecting Swiss life sciences in Boston. The program kicks off next week as four startups arrive for the Biotech Startup Camp, powered by Innosuisse. We’re welcoming them with an exclusive garden party with the local biotech ecosystem, followed by a conversation on the state of the life sciences investing in collaboration with the ETH Alumni Association, and two events in July highlighting the Boston–Basel relationship with partners from Switzerland’s biggest biotech hub!
It’s also the time of year for graduations, and we’re inviting alumni and former affiliates of Swiss universities to celebrate with us — whether you’ve just received your degree, or are just back from your 50th reunion. Join us in Boston for a World Cup watch party, and in New York for a night of music and networking at the Vitra Showroom.

BEYOND SCREEN TIME
Last month, we welcomed Michael Rich, founder and director of the Digital Wellness Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital, for a workshop and conversation on wellbeing in the digital age. A pediatrician, researcher, and former filmmaker who trained under Akira Kurosawa, Michael has spent decades exploring how media shapes the health and development of young people. Through the Digital Wellness Lab, he works with researchers, industry leaders, educators, and youth themselves to promote healthier digital environments and habits.
