News from Swissnex in. Japan

Singing on the ring—what a thrill! As someone from Osaka, it’s deeply moving to see the World Expo return to our city after 55 years. I am joining the opening ceremony with my daughter, singing in the choir on the iconic ring stage—an unforgettable moment. At the very same time, the Swiss Pavilion opens its doors to the world, inviting visitors to explore Switzerland’s vision for a more sustainable and human-centered future. Don’t forget to also visit the Synthetic Interactions exhibition at the Consulate, echoing our Pavilion’s first theme, Augmented Human. Expo 2025 is here—let’s make it memorable!
